What's a PC equivilent to Waverburner?

is it worthwhile to get something like this? I usually just use cubase to export my wavs but was wondering if there's a more professional/better way to do final exporting to cd. just got curious when reading a post that said andy uses waveburner to export over pt

i'll read up on these ideas, do any of them have demo's that anyone knows about? also, still my question is, is it worth having something like this or can I get the same exact results from cubase? I don't do much mastering or final cuts and what I have done I just exported through cubase, this whole area I'm definitely n00bin it up so I'm trying to make sense of the purpose of these programs because so far all I can figure is that they're used to just map out your cd tracks, dither them, then export them into a burnable audio cd format, am I correct?

I'm not quite sure how to answer as to whether it's worth it or not because I don't know how much you'd use it, but for me, when I need to burn a redbook compliant CD, CD Architect is a must have. The way you can arrange your tracks on a timeline and determine the amount of time between each and all tracks, 'tuck and tail' any song you need to, apply FX if you need to, normalize if you need to, etc... All the things you'd need to do to have a proper redbook CD.

There are a lot of apps out there for burning discs, but CD Architect is one of the very few that gives you the options and control it does. If you don't burn a lot of CD's, it might not be worth it, but if you do need to burn discs pretty often, then it's something you'll be very glad you have.
