I get the same impression. I'm not a fan at all, but if Star Trek is on TV when I'm channel surfing, I tend to just stay and watch it.

In my case, it was more a consequence of being really drunk round a mate's house, when he suddenly had the urge to watch Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Generations and First Contact in the same night. I made him put The Thing on after Generations though, as some sort of concession to the fact that it was Halloween.

I find it humoruos. Honestly though any show I start watching, normally, I start thinking enough into it that I get hooked. No matter how awful the show, I can find something of value.

Yeah. That happened to me when I saw House MD on last night. I don't normally watch the show but the humour is a good hook.

I listened to Mozart's Requiem (Death Mass) in the dark with very comfortable headphones on, trying to invoke the darkened powers. Actually that was kinda before Halloween. Although I did see a black cat, while I was at a relatives house during midnight, as I walked out of the house there was a black cat standing there. This was the day before halloween

Our Halloween is a bit different than the other countries. We spend it quietly at home sitting....nah but i guess we'll watch some horror movies and go to sauna.

We spend the Halloween on the 4th day of this month.
