What's James' favourite Guitar Tuning?

I was wondering if someone could list the tunings James used on his records.I know he used d an C# tuning on the Low record.Does the lower tunings make James' legato style easier to execute or is it just for the heavier sound?

I know he used a D tuning (all strings one whole step down) on his solo CDs, except for the cover songs, which are in standard tuning.

C# is what i use on my sabre, and i know james would agree, it does sound kick ass on a sabre. hehe
