I tend to burn music into a cd to listen to them on the stereo or take with me when I go out. To those who like burning CDs, what is on the CD you just made, or the one you listen to?

I have the following on mine:

  1. Dimmu Borgir - Kings of Carnival Creation
  2. Lord Belial - Forlorn In Silence
  3. Novembre - Child Of The Twilight
  4. Lord Belial - Divide Et Impera
  5. Dimmu Borgir - The Maelstrom Mephisto
  6. Vintersorg - Trollbunden
  7. Vintersorg - The Enigmatic Spirit
  8. Lord Belial - The Art Of Dying
  9. Lord Belial - Hymn Of The Anciient Misanthropic Spirit Of The Forrest
  10. Vintersorg - Astral And Arcane
  11. Novembre - Everasia
  12. Anathema - The Silent Enigma
  13. Dimmu Borgir - Burn In Hell
  14. Vintersorg - Algol
    [/list=1]

Mine has 117 songs - I have the RioVolt so I can play MP3's. I burn at 192 bit rate - good sound. I think it would be too long to list. Lets just say I usually have 1 or 2 songs per band - but Opeth takes the cake.

I also have the entire Opeth CD catalog on one disc. That's the best one I have.

I'll have to try that. Where can I find this RioVolt thing. What is it, anyway?

I have a series of self-compiled albums designed for my more eclectic moods, when I can't decide whether I want prog or extreme, so I havea little of both...on one April Ethereal is followed by Symphony X's Evolution, on another Sigh is sandwiched beteen Fates Warning and Threshold.

It's a CD player - but it has the ability to play back MP3 CD's, which can get over 100 songs per CD on it. It also has an FM tuner built in - and it plays regular CD's too.

Places like BestBuy have them - or easily found on the internet - a bit expensive though - around $160 - but with the amount of music on a CD - to me it was well worth the investment.

Lets see:
Borknagar-The Genuine Pulse
Judas Iscariot-Spill the Blood of the Lamb
Krieg-A Walk Amongst the Stars
Ulver- Capitel III
Quo Vadis-I Believe
Judas Iscariot-The Heavens Drip With Human Gore
Bloodbath-Furnace Funeral
Dan Swano-Uncreation
Noctuary- A Tear's Descent from Heaven
Labyrinth-Moonight
Sadistic Intent-Funerals Obscure

haha, you guys are gonna hack the shit out of me, i just made a Nu Metal/Groove CD. But don't worry i didn't put any of the weak bands on it like Limp or Linkin Park (even though i kinda like them too heheh)

1. Puya - No Intereference
2. Mudvayne - Internal Primates Forever
3. Nevermore - The River Dragon has Come
4. Machine Head - Davidian
5. Haji's Kitchen - Syncopated
6. Eldritch My Sharona
7. Machine Head - Ten Ton Hammer
8. Soilwork - Like the Average Stalker
9. Puya - Union
10. Haji's Kitchen - Free
11. Skinlab - So Far From The Truth
12. Eldritch - Sufferance Degree
13. Machine Head - From This Day
14. Nothingface - Can't Wait for Violence
15. Mudvayne - Under My Skin
16. Nevermore - Inside Four Walls
17. Puya - Numbed

It's for those days where you wanna bang your head... I find the groovy stuff to be way more headbangable than death metal. And laugh all you want but i like the style :)

They're COMPLEX Groove/Nu Metal. I've played the heavier Nevermore songs (the 2 i listed) for a friend and it never seemed out of place to him along with his other stuff. I get so bitter when people refuse to see the similarities between some nevermore and Nu Metal.. YES THEY ARE THERE!!! But i'm not saying Nevermore is Nu Metal, and even if i was who fucking cares what it's called, it is good music. (That soilwork tune fits in fine as well... It's groovy.)
