What's on your compilation disc?

I tend to burn music into a cd to listen to them on the stereo or take with me when I go out. To those who like burning CDs, what is on the CD you just made, or the one you listen to?

I have the following on mine:

Mine has 117 songs - I have the RioVolt so I can play MP3's. I burn at 192 bit rate - good sound. I think it would be too long to list. Lets just say I usually have 1 or 2 songs per band - but Opeth takes the cake.

I also have the entire Opeth CD catalog on one disc. That's the best one I have.

I have a series of self-compiled albums designed for my more eclectic moods, when I can't decide whether I want prog or extreme, so I havea little of both...on one April Ethereal is followed by Symphony X's Evolution, on another Sigh is sandwiched beteen Fates Warning and Threshold.

I use MusicMatch - it makes the cleanest sounding copies - then I burn with EZ CD Creator.

It's a CD player - but it has the ability to play back MP3 CD's, which can get over 100 songs per CD on it. It also has an FM tuner built in - and it plays regular CD's too.

Places like BestBuy have them - or easily found on the internet - a bit expensive though - around $160 - but with the amount of music on a CD - to me it was well worth the investment.

MusicMatch is great, but the newer versions have gotten a lot slower. I have version 6.0, which is their best, IMO. I could email it to you if you're interested (it is like 10 MB, so make sure you can get emails that big first).

Musicmatch takes up too much space and it's a pain to use. I prefer CDex, from the link I provided. It's small, simple, fast, and powerful. Better at ripping than Musicmatch.

Nevermore are definitely not nu-metal. And Machine Head's first CD was awesome. Can't say I really know the others you mention. I don't hate all nu-metal, mostly just the rap-metal shit; I never could stand rap, so I feel it pollutes the metal purity

They're COMPLEX Groove/Nu Metal. I've played the heavier Nevermore songs (the 2 i listed) for a friend and it never seemed out of place to him along with his other stuff. I get so bitter when people refuse to see the similarities between some nevermore and Nu Metal.. YES THEY ARE THERE!!! But i'm not saying Nevermore is Nu Metal, and even if i was who fucking cares what it's called, it is good music. (That soilwork tune fits in fine as well... It's groovy.)
