Hey guys, can anyone of you recognize the snare mic used here ?

mmmm, it looks like none of those, the snare mic is on the left of the snare, looks like a small diaphragm condenser to me...
Oh and by the way, isn't it an AKG C414 on the hi-hat ? Its positioning is kinda weird...

Yeah that looks like a 414 on the hats, really weird position tho.

I found this picture on The Haunted website. I just recently discovered rEVOLVEr (don't ask me why I've missed this album... maybe I was too busy listening to Andy's productions, haha) and I think that it sounds very good ! It was recorded at Studio Fredman, maybe James has some informations as to what mics they usually use since he's been there recently.
 
either an akg c451 or shure ksm 100 series.

its triggered as well, so i'm sure there is some replacement/blending on that new haunted record. i really like the sound of the new one though, very cool.
