Waves Z-Noise bundle man, its so fucking good. Its not a gate really, its more of a noise decimator I have it and it doesn't affect the sound at all, it just gets rid of all noise!

Worst software noise gate ever, seriously. I NEVER used it when I was using Revalver.

z noise always colors and effects the sound of my stuff. unless the extra noise is REALLY subtle. othewise, these fish fillets are looking pretty sweet! havent tried them yet, but i love free plug ins.

It's not exactly cheap though, which is why I never used it past the trial period and just clean up stuff manually.

depends what its for.. guitars, toms, bass i chop by hand, but on snare, i LOVE the Mh channelstrip gate. Its AWESOME
