What's wrong with my mix?!?!?!

Snare is way loud, pretty dull and sounds like only one sample which gives it that machine gun effect. Guitars sound pretty thin and the bass could come up a bit.

Thank you for replying!!!! Yeah I hate my snare sound, but I am just now learning how to use superior and haven't gotten into sample blending yet. I don't even know where to start!!! And I'm hoping I can redo my guitars with my 6505 instead of using ampisms to achieve better results. Do you have any suggestions for achieving a thicker sound for guitars without mudding up the mix? Or is it trial and error on my part?

Really hard to say without knowing what your guitar chain looks like atm. I'm always trying to get the sound right at the source but it's better having to cut than to boost with EQ when you get to mixing (ie don't be afraid of using the bass and resonance knobs).

Best tip I can give you now to get thick guitars: Get a good bass guitar sound.
