do you like the more powermetal type parts or the death parts? i cant make up my mind...first band i've seen that combines em both (at least...as well as they do) so what do you guys think?

hmm difficult! Still, mostly the heavy/death parts.... but I think the strenght is in the way they alternate the styles, they enhance each other this way

definately the combo of the two, what makes ie so good is how well they blend them together, not always but often my faveorite part in a song is when they seemlessly transition between parts. (eg. song into eternity off first album at around 2:30 to 3:00 in, heavy to soft...awesome).
