Most people have had Damnation for a while, so I want to know what everyone's favourite Opeth album is now.

My Arms Your Hearse for me. Just ahead of Morningrise.

The first Opeth album I bought was Morningrise and the day (1997-12-30) I got it in my mailbox my life changed.
So therefore I vote for Morningrise, one of the best album ever made.

I'll say it for the millionth time I don't see anything in MAYH...

Blackwater Park it is, but I feel a bit queasy saying this because the album lacks the cult feeling of Orchid and Morningrise which I love oh so much. Still, 'Park is nearly flawless (god...damn...dirge...for...november......)

Has to be Still Life, perfect album. Then Deliverance and Damnation, then MAYH and then the others....

Morningrise is a close second though! I just love the guitar harmonies. The fact that the songs are not traditionally structured make it even better. The first two albums definitely have a different atmosphere than the others.

it used to be still life, but im REALLY getting into orchid now and it fucking rules. so its Orchid.

MAYH doesnt age too well (its easy to over play it..), and deliverance and damnation are definatley the worst 2.

but they are still godly, its impossible for opeth to make otherwise...

My Arms Your Hearse ages better than any of them. Period. I've listened to it probably.....250 times, and I still adore it.
