Where will I be able to pre-order the new Opeth cd's?

From Bravewords.com:
"It has officially been announced that the two upcoming OPETH masterpieces, Deliverance (the heavy album) and Damnation (the mellow album), have been completed. Mainman Mikael Akerfeldt felt that there was more to say on this matter and decided to give BW&BK a further glimpse into the madness to come.
"We've been through hell and back," Mikael says with relief. "This is without a doubt the most gruesome recording process I've ever been part off. It almost killed me! Anyway, yes, you'll probably like D-1 if you switch to Death Metal mode as it's probably the most brutal music we've recorded. I don't know why really, it just got heavy as hell. Still we have more more mellow parts than I figured on the heavy album too, some Beatles 'Aaaah's' and some Scott Walker type vocals... it's ****ing wierd, but I think I like it. I'm so godamn tired of music right now that I can't really say."
As for Damnation, the mellow album, Mikael had this to offer: "D-2 will be a very delicate and beautiful record I do believe. Steven Wilson (of PORCUPINE TREE fame) has really helped producing this and he plays some, a lot actually, mellotrons, fender rhoads etc. We have some percussion on the albums too. We really went over the top and just went completely nuts with everything. I just got home yesterday after 50 days in the studio so I gotta relax."

Don't know why I posted that..

i don't know about preordering, though i imagine (i hope, at least), that theendrecords will have them ready to ship the day(s) they come out.

I'm going to keep an eye on The End Records. Theres a possibility they'll get it in advance. I want it they DAY it comes out though, so I'll mostly like run to Best Buy and Sam Goody, and if they don't have it then I'll wait to order them. I've never messed with Amazon..

Your welcome for the info, btw.

Sometimes, if you pre-order from the right place, they'll ship it BEFORE the date so you get it on or right after. I can't remember which did that. Tower will probably have it, though. Someone must. A lot of places had BWP, and I expect the distribution will only be better for this.

Id hope so .. a lot of new fans are expecting these albums. Id say the mellow one alone will sell more than all the opeth cd's together.by the number of new members on this forum I can tell that ... i've also heard some talk around town here about Opeth between a couple dude's in my school ...for something like that to happen here is amazing (I live in newfoundland by the way)

I would go for The End Records they got Emperor's Promethus... in 2 weeks before the release date. I hope they can do that with Opeth. Maybe before PT's In Absentia is expected out they will get it early.

if you preorder from amazon sometimes they ship 1 or 2 days before teh release date.
and I wouldnt be suprised if the end got both albums in tomorrow :rolleyes: didn't they have vintersorg's new one like 3 weeks before it came out?

I wonder if they'll make Damnation available somehow. You know, before March. Like a two-pack! I'd buy it.
