I started out at #1 when I was like 15 or so then moved on to #2 and now I'm usually at #3.

#3 A safe distance away so I can watch and enjoy the show

Due to a combination of a) I just want to enjoy the music and not worry about getting elbowed in the face and b) I'm a tad bit claustrophobic.

I ususally hang out by the soundboard during shows.

#1 or #2 depending on who is playing, how mental the pit is and how far we have travelled to see the show.
ie We travelled 2800 miles to see Anthrax in Melb. Australia 2004, and we did not imagine being any where else than up the front.

I like to be up against the stage in front of the pit- but usually get knocked into quite a bit--- last year- at the 5 fucking AM Anthrax show- some guy punched me in the mouth & I had to jump on him & regulate! punck, kick, scratch- good times.

Depends on what I'm wearing, who's playing and who I'm with. Skirt=at the bar. Pants=at the rail depending on the band. Slayer...at the rail. Love the buises! The gift that keeps on giving...
