I would say Pale Folklore. I will always remember a trip home one time about 2 years ago, driving listening to Pale Folklore. It was in a major thunderstorm, and it was quite amazing. I love the Mantle though, and in time the new one might overtake PF (it's that good)

They are indeed close - The Mantle to me just seems more conisistent over time. The first few songs on Pale Folklore are amazingly atmospheric though.
 
I know alot of people that highlight it, but they are dumb....................

All three are so mandatory the question of ranking them doesn't even need to be.

Also, the "Of Stone, Wind, and Pillor" ep is an addition no sane person would like to disregard.
