Get both V and The Divine Wings of Tragedy. Both great albums, great songs, incredible performance... just the production on TDWOT... I don't like it that much, but get both, you won't be disappointed!

Umm... I think the guitar tone on Divine Wings is WAY heavier than V. On V the rhythm guitar tone actually sorta sucks.
you'd be much better off getting all the Symphony X albums, cause u'll love them all. from there u can decide for urself which songs are too power metal for you. if u like the odyssey u shouldnt have a problem with any of their others. i havent heard much from their self titled cd, but everything else is almost too good.
