Which is betteer.... classic Accept or new Accept ?

I love classic Accept, but the lyrics are incredibly bad in places (yeah....due to translation....still very bad). Since I'm a HUGE Mark Tornillo fan from his TT Quick days, and Hoffmann can still write killer riffs, I think I gotta give the edge to the new stuff. Bucket Full Of Hate!!!!!!

I'm going to put it at a draw as well. I think I enjoy the new one better, but I think that's almost entirely because I find Tornillo to be much better than Udo. I love both though.

I think classic Accept wins, but the recent 2 discs are as good as they can get (with great production) and Tornillo does a killer job.
BTW, for me, the 2 killer Accept albums would be Balls To The Wall and Restless & Wild (which is better than Metal Heart IMO).

For me- the new stuff is excellent, as is Tornillo but I gotta go with classics like Restless and Wild, Balls to the Wall and Metal Heart being superior.

The new stuff...hands down. But I think it's just because of the MASSIVE production values.

Now, if we could hear the classic Udo era stuff with modern recording...hmmm.

I like both eras equally well, and give the edge to the newer stuff because of production values. My first accept record was Breaker, the us release with the edited lyrics. Bought at a Woolworth's in Niles IL. Still my favorite Accept record of the bunch overall, followed closely by Restless & Wild......

New stuff is kickin' though!

FAvorite is Restless & Wild, then Blood of the Nations probably Balls to the Wall 3rd. Can you just imagine how much more killer R&W and BttW would be with a modern production job??

I'll be the oddball. I prefer Udo's solo work to anything by Accept.

I love both!! But I'm such a Mark Tornillo fangirl.. I had the biggest old-man crush on him when I saw him perform last year. <3

Not to sound condescending, but "modern recordings" are technically much much much less "massive" than actual recordings to actual tape on a real SSL board with actual instruments, singing, etc. You can turn up the volume on those and it will sound much better than most of the stuff that comes out today. My 2c. :D

Classic Accept. I love the new stuff don't get me wrong, but Metal Heart and Russian Roulette as two comparative albums are top notch and massive sounding even now. And if the intro on "Metal Heart" isn't "massive" enough sounding then you need a new stereo. ;)

Yea, pretty much this. I very fond of a lot of the old Accept songs, but I love Mark and prefer his vocals.
