As a Savatage fan, I was really disappointed when I got The Wake of Magellen. After listening to it I was like "huh?" they just tried to hard. Tried to hard to make it a concept album and it was overblown overplayed/ etc. The songs didn't fit like most previous Savatage works (my fav being Dead Winter Dead) and
I was left feeling kind of screwed over. Now they have a new singer and I'm even more pissed off. All I ever asked of my metal bands was to keep things consistent. That album was wacko. Also, disappointed in Type O Negative's World Coming Down I feel October Rust and Bloody Kisses are "worlds" appart from that release which was pathetic at best.

Ahh.... Entombed reminds me of something I'd hear on the radio... I bashed Emperor Norton for three straight hours for buying one of their CDs
I really hate their sound... reminds me of KoRn sometimes (simple bass intros)
Don't like Deicide... love the concept of "pretending" to be satan worshippers (Morbid Angel), but actually doing it isn't my style.
Never did like Iron Maiden (though I do like Bruce Dickinson's semi-new CD), their sound doesn't catch my fancy.

Slayer's new album is not that bad, much better than the last one. GHUA is still pissed off, and payback is a killer song. SOmebody listed the Ritual by Testament, despite its rather commercial nature, it still is great and has a great headbanging vibe.
My vote for worst metal album would be anything by Hammerfall, but on further evaluation i think Reload is the worst album I have ever heard, the moaning on The Memory remains, sounds like it was sung by Yoko Ono.
