both sounds pretty similar to me, i think that guitars should come down a hair on both.
guitar tone is quite good but drums kinda make it a bit lo-fi for some reason, maybe it needs a bit of high end brightness (just drums, not whole mix).

I prefer FourtyFour because it sounds to me like the guitars mesh better with the drums.

Do they have vocals?
