I haven't held/tried any of them so I can't tell you.
whatever one feels best, really.

I tried some of the XDs and they feel great. Really well-built firearm.
Just stay the hell away from Glock, in my opinion. The actions/slides feel like fucking hell.
Smith and Wesson M&P series are also a really nice feeling gun. Cool features like ambidextrous slide locks and safeties (and grips obviously).
XD probably had the best weight distribution though.

I thought about picking up an M&P but i like the P2000 slightly more, i mean, they are practically the same, Polymer frame, ambidextrerous, interchangable grips, very comfy. I just perfered the feel, the trigger, the look, and the ease of operation of the H&K a little bit more.

Heard great shit about the XD series, and they are dirt cheap, but I havent fired one yet, also dont like the squared "glock" frame with the enclosed hammer. That drives me nuts

GLOCK haters beware!
I will never bother with the XD. You cant buy parts anywhere.
