I've only heard various sample MP3's so disregard my vote if you like, but what I heard from Latvian Riflemen appealed to me the most.

Swordsong is folkmusic, not metal at all. Have not heard the demo but Latvian Riflemen is the best out of those I've heard.

Now the question becomes, where do I buy Latvian Riflemen? I just looked around and can only find Thunderforge.

I'll probably get The Battle of Saule after LR. So if anybody knows where to pick that one up as well, I'd appreciate knowing.

I've heard Thunderforge and Swordsong, and tbh, neither of them was all that great. I bought Thunderforge from JayK for like $8, and it sold on eBay for like $20. I didn't know it was rare.

I bought Swordsong from www.evilmusic.com for like $15 and it sold for almost $30.

www.evilmusic.com has:

The Battle of Saule for $21
Latvian Riflemen for $17
Thunderforge for $13

keep in mind you have to buy two items when ordering from Evil Music

Skyforger is not rare at all, you can buy it right now from Red Stream. People on eBay are just retards.

Case in point: somebody bought the Agalloch Grey EP yesterday on eBay for $30 buy it now. Of course, they didn't even bother checking Vendlus Records...

Geez, that evilmusic is kind of expensive. I just put 3 cds in my shopping cart and it came to $57 before shipping. Is $21 each for Skyforger - Kauja pie Saules and Countess - The Shining Swords of Hate actually good prices?

They are fairly rare, so I'd say $17 for LR is damn good. I think those prices are postage paid, but I could be wrong.

someone is selling LR for almost $30 in an eBay store, so....

funny. i just bought the re-release of Battle of Saule on ebay for $10. just do a search on ebay for skyforger and youll see it.

ITT, this turns into a general purpose Skyforger thread

GREAT band, I mean I knew that they were good before but I got two albums yesterday (including Semigalls' Warchant, their demos pressed to CD I think it is) and this is really really awesome! Needs more attention!

How does Warchant compare to The Battle of Saule?

Personally, I havent heard Saule yet, but Warchants is a bit folky raw black metal with sick vocals.
