Why did people start to talk about other bands' lyrics? This is not the Boyzone forum.

I'd say Downfall and Everytime I Die and Angels Don't Kill. Haven't thought about it. It's so much also about how the lyrics are sang and how they fit the song.

How can you discuss something like this when you're allowed to take into account every existing genre? This only works on rap which is lyrics and nothing else. Even seemingly bad lyrics can make your favourite song on most of genres.

^^Kinda right because in rap the lyrics make the song, thats the substance. In most other genres the lyrics are just a miniscule part of what you actually like in the music, and as the music gets more complex the lyrics become even less important. In metal though, i find even though it is, in the end about the music, people do respect fine lyrical structure, cooling words to accompany cooling music. (while typing that last sentence i remembered that once my mom asked me how that loud mess could clam me down and help me focus....i lol'd) So to people whom lyrics are important, like me, this thread id great, and even to people who view lyrics as a smaller part of the music, this thread could still be useful, since you can still have a favorite lyric either way.
