I'm wondering which one one of these 2 clips sound best..

Updated with individual files!

Nr 1: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2383166/1.wav
Nr 2: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2383166/2.wav

The strings are stock and old, so.. it's not the hottest tone..
AND.. I recorded it directly to linein, no DI-box.. (because I made a mistake and wanted the test to be fair)

I posted the clean recording instead of any mixtest.. so you can put it through software or wha'evva!

a tip: make direct links to the files so it saves a lot of hassle for someone wanting to help you out

I've added the individual files.. thanks for the tip!
I was actually trying to do just that, save some hassle.
The .rar is half the size of the individual files.. and people with cap on their monthly downloads /slow connection, would benefit from it being smaller..

I didn't know you could make the files linstenable, now I'll know that for next time..

Well..
The difference is.....

The magnet(/s)..
1. stock magnet, a rektangle magnet, black, not that strong.
2. 4 neodyium magnets

The basspups has 8 slugs (non-magnetized) in a row.. under them sits the magnet..
I switched this magnet out for 4 neodyium magnets (1 per 2 slugs), in the neck pup..
I had to lower the pickup a bit.. to get the same loudness/output as before, because they're so strong..

I think it worked out pretty well..
I've switched magnets in both pups now..

NR2 sounds way better, but the playing on this is so soft and meh. Not saying whats being played is soft, but its like the bass player is barely plucking the strings at all. Just my opinion
