Which speaker is full of br00tz?

Help me decide with of these two speakers has a "nicer" flavor...

Yes, these aren't in a full mix but I did double track to help somewhat...

Overall tone isn't very good, mic'd in a terrible room, not bright enough, horrible low end reflections off the floor etc...besides all that...

Which are you digging the most?!

I like the mids on the right clip more.

I agree, right tone has some nice and punchy mids (listening on Rokit 6 monitors).

Those clips are both totally raw...it's a Mesa Recto 2x12 + EVH5150III with a TS808 boost, single 57, game on!

How'd you position the 57? Really, I wish I had my roadster 2x12 again.. That thing was so easy to record compared to my OS.

Aimed at the join between the paper and the cone...on axis.

More clips to come, this is just the first stage.

This cab has hardly been broken in either....least that's what ive been told!

Yeah the right speakers definitely sounds better to me.

The mids are a little bit smoother there, sounding less harsh to my ears (listening on headphones)
