Which Vocal Mic?!?

I'm looking into Vocal mic's at the moment, and i'm torn between two, which one do you guys reccomend?

nope, it outperforms the nt-1 IMO but with the 4040 you've got a decent LDC and the sm7 is killer anyway.
I just recommended the HM-1 cause I think it's the best bang for the buck but I don't think it's "better" then 4040 or sm7 (different perhaps, yes) the 4040 and sm7 are more expensive though.

I'm considering a couple of HM-1 myself for bright girl voices cause my usual goto LDC is the 414 xlII wich can get fairly bright on some voives (though I love it one alot of things).

I don't have much experience with the C1 but I do have the B3 and I fucking love it.

I am very happy with my T.Bone SCT 700 tube microphone. It's cheap (169,-EUR, http://www.thomann.de/de/the_tbone_sct700_roehrenmikrofon.htm) and gives perfect value for the money. It has it's own sound, very crisp and up-front. Perfect for those intimate and direct vocals (think Rick Rubin's Johnny Cash recordings).

I've been interested in them since they came out, they were $99 at the time I should have jumped then.
