Hey,

Last time I posted d.i's here I was told they sound like crap so I would like too figure out which would be the best way to record d.i tracks for I start recording my bands e.p

basically I cant spend cash on any new units for recording D.I's so I'm trying to make do with what I have.

Today I restrung my guitar and did a D.I shoot out between these(each with a left and a right guitar track)

Mbox2 Mini with pad engaged.

I was wondering whether you guys could let me know how these d.I tracks are. I probably shouldn't of labelled them to prevent bias but I am looking for honest opinions please.

Whilst this is a rate my d.I's thread it is also a new update to my current Job offer for Re-amping a 4 track E.P. so if anyone wants to give these D.I's a re-amp and send it back to me with their current rates for re-amping I'd love to hear from you

Here is the drum track for reamping use

The Countryman DIs sound good.

I will tell you this, it sounds like you're not picking very hard, but the tonality of the DI tracks are just fine.

You're going to need to play tighter for the final product though.

Also, is that reverb I hear on the bass track?
