Who are You? Introduce yourself here!

This thread is so cute. ;o

I'm Sophie, I'm 19, I live in England; I think I found this band on last.fm but I could be wrong.
Favourite bands are probably Katatonia, Xasthur, Acid Bath, Opeth, Woods of Ypres and Shining.
I've been playing bass for about 5 years and I still suck. Slightly better at piano.
I like finding obscure BM to listen to but I admit, most of its awful.

Hello my Name in reallive is Linda. Normally i don´t indrotuce, but here i must, because i still missing voices from germany. We love TODT too. And all should it know :) and my english is bad, but i think you can understand... The way to TODT was suprising. My friends and i go to a concert of Dead Soul Tribe last year in the colos-Saal; Aschaffenburg. And there i experience my suprise. I surch a long time for a band that sound so. Dead Soul Tribe was ok, but for me TODT were the master of the evening :) i was so happy to find a band that sometimes sound like little bittersweet pop and than peng in the next moment vincent blow up all. Yes, that like i. In germany is a band "Slut" (shit name ok...) there old albums sounds like TODT, but only the popside and i wish and wish that the becan to sream but nothing. They developed in another direcness. It´s ok... but not for here... Another bands i like are Opeth, Into Eternity, Disillusion, Ayreon, Daiblo, Pothead, Machine Head, D.T.... eh many many more. Mostly metal, little bit folk like Korpiklaani and eluvite and german folk like Subway to sally ... and little bit unmetal like anyones daughter; lazuli, slut...

Hello,
I was born in 1985, I spend most of my time in Gent, I discovered The Old Dead Tree through a friend on another forum when The Nameless Disease came out and I'm schizofrenic when it comes to music, I wandered around in the wide world of metal, gothic, but also (mainly flemish and french) balfolk and drum and bass. Apparently I even like post-hardcore (usually I have no idea what genre I'm listening to and it's not until last year I started paying attention to that) I've been wanting to see TODT for ages but due circumstances that only happened last year on the Metaloween fest.
I like loads of bands (Supuration, Alcest, Paradise Lost, Story Of The Year, Qntal, Emilie Autumn, Metallica, Lacuna Coil...), but the ones that can drive me crazy are Zeromancer, Seigmen and (how could you guess?) The Old Dead Tree.

Oh, and I talk too much :D

Amazing isn't it :D
I'm only part of the Mindviewcrew since last year (and if I see your taste, I think you have gotten along well with Kurt =D)
If you saw in the Biebob on the TODT concert someone jumping on one leg, that was me (I fell off some stairs the day before but I didn't want to go to the doctor's because I wanted to go to the gig)
I was out of the metalscene for a couple of years (if not we might have met) but I'm back baby 8)

Hello hello! i'm Colin wolff, 14 years old and i'm from The netherlands.

I like alot of metal, thrash metal (darkness descends and pleasure to kill by Dark angel and Kreator are the best thrash metal albums EVER). Death metal (Death, Atheist, Morbid angel, you name it.) heavy metal (''classics'') you name it.

And hail The old dead tree! my favourite song is ''we cry as one'' it has interesting lyrics. :)

Hello
My name is Yannick (suprise suprise) and i'm from Austria (so don't wonder about all the mistakes i make...), 17 years old and i just love your music =D There are not many bands where i could just listen all albums in a row and that for 24hours 7 days a week... in fact.. there are just two: The old dead tree and Hurt.
If you would ask me my favourite song i would just list up nearly all the songs of all your albums >.< And i love the lyrics!

In my free time i love playing the guitar. I'm now playing more than my half life (since i'm 6 years old... i think =/) and i also love to play songs from old dead tree.

And Summer Breeze 08 it will be the day! TODT LIVE <3

So please never stop your work!

Hi!
I'm Camille, from France (Metz). I discovered The Old Dead Tree not too long ago thanks to a friend (Thomas) who has known them for quite a long time, and apparently attended some training sessions in Paris.
Thomas kept insisting on how great a band it is, and until Hellfest in Clisson, I hadn't given myself the time to really listen to their music.
But then , I must admit it was a REVELATION!! A real treat on stage!
So let's just hope there'll be more concerts, more festivals, more CDs... and so be it!
See ya!!
