Pulling out of the Middle East would be much worse than losing more troops, one of the things I learned in boot was the sacrifice of being a soldier. It took 7 or 8 years to get Japan back on its feet about the same for Germany. We have a chance to do real GOOD for the people of Iraq and Afghanistan, and that will shift the future of the entire region.

I wasnt aware of the NIH/NSF fundings being fucked up by this Admin and the Congresional branch, thanks for the heads up Ill look into it for my own education. Public Education was and is a nightmare and NCLB isnt helping but from what I see its fully funded thats more of a waste than funding Iraq/Afgahnistan. I threw away my education when I did not take advantage of the many opportunities Ive had with private schooling. I work with the products of Public Education, I will go on Social Security and home school any child I have or go into debt to the day I die before I send a child of mine (I have no children which is also good) before public schooling.

I fear Kerry getting elected. I fear a man who would put the UNs votes over the interests of the United States of AMerica.
Kerry has a chance to beat Bush, I will not vote for somebody who has made a wide spread charge that those that served in Viet Nam (joined or drafted) are war criminals. Kerry served 4+ months and should be honored for his service, he got his Bronze stars and opted out of the field. We have vets, from Afgahn and Iraq, who have lost limbs and are trying to get back to the fleet and serve with their units in the field because of their feeling of duty to those they serve with.
Every day for the last 9 years I wish I could have fullfilled my service.
Kerry joined the Navy at a time when the waiting period for enlistment was 2 years (the Officer Corps might not have had the same waiting period). Shrub jumped the line and requirments to join the TANG, Im in no position to say flying intercepters over American soil is any more dangerous than piloting a swiftboat so Im not going to.
Im sure you know that Stern is safe on satilite radio.

REAGAN GAVE US SADAM AND HIS WMD FACILITIES! Reagan is why Iraq had chemical weapons plants. Reagan is why Sadam was able to gas the Iaqi people and the Kurds. Reagan also loved the American millitary, he was the last peg that ended the Cold War, and he set us on the path of prosperity with the understanding that we are the economy not the government. I doubt Kerry understands that he is going to punish those he want to protect with his stance on raising taxxes for himself and his wife. Teresa Hienze Kerry only paid 12% on last years taxes I paid over 20%.

DUMBASS oil prices are rising in the US because demand is up and refineries are at over 95% capacity. $87 billion is a drop in the bucket of what we can do as a country. What is the best thing to do make things easier? To make money or grow your business, CUT TAXES! The more money I or my boss makes even at a lower percentage the more OUR government makes.

Bush should cut spending and taxes, but first and foremost he should be cutting government. We are a free people and can do for ourselves, it has how we got to this crux.

Kerry wants to re-solidify our stance in the UN. The UN has no teeth to back up its resolutions, thats why America fights for those who cant.
I pay no state taxes, if you dont like what your state taxes you I suggest MOVE! I am better off than you. I do have to pay taxes because I own my own house and land.
The belief in God by those who wrote the documents founded this country helped to make us the great City on the Hill that we are. The people who started groups that went after Slayer and Anthrax and lest we forget Diecide, like the PMRC were members of the DNC. The PMRC went after the Dead Kennedys in court. The DNC and dems in general are a huge danger to our 1st (PMRC) and 2nd amendmant rights than the RNC.
Gore was for going after Iraq and Sadam while he was VP I see no reason to think he would change his ming if he where CIC.
Wasted $$$ on Iraq?? We have bought untold good to millions even if we fail to "Free" them we have done good. We have spread good abroad where have we done "bad" here in the states(I want to know so I can make my own choices)?

I will NOT vote for BUSH. I don't want somebody in office who won't admit mistakes were made and going to war under false pretenses. It has been proven by the 9/11 Commission that Saddam and Iraq had NOTHING to do with the Sept. 11 attacks and yet thats who we go after. I am tired of the USA trying to be conquerors and the world police. We should not force our beleifs and values on other nations.

I agree that we shouldn't be world police or forcing our beliefs on other people. I think that after 9/11, we should have taken care of the problem in Afkanistan, and not worried about going after Daddy's enemy that we said we wouldn't attack in a treaty mad during the gulf war.
