Damn... so how is the whole new album then?

In my opinion, it's fucking terrible compared to Empiricism. Empiricism was almost flawless, and one of my favourite albums of all time. Epic, however, is a completely different story. I only enjoy a couple of songs on that album. They experiment WAY TOO MUCH with dissonance and weird chord combinations. The riffs don't sound "clean", in a way. The three albums that were released before Epic constantly gave me goosebumps because of the beatuiful chord progressions, godlike vocals, etc. Epic is way too prog-ish, is too long, and.. bah. Too many progressive elements. I don't want dissonance and weird tempo changes in a Borknagar album! Also, Vintersorg sounds VERY forced here and there, at times it's bordering to the ridiculous. I'm extremely disappointed with it.

Better metalbands,Better goverment, smarter people.
...BWAAAAA HAHAHAHAHA...you mean that coddling, ineffectual nanny state you scandinavians have? Smarter people would trust themselves more to govern their own lives. You want good european government, look at 1990's Ireland (hint, the government was verrrrry tiny, which allowed Eire to develop the fastest growing economy in europe) or look at Poland, which last I checked had a flat tax. You're right about the metal bands, though.

This is between Us and Sweden, not Europe.
Of course there are better countries than Sweden.
