Oh well between the US and sweden?! You must be joking. The United States and its constitution is the model for almost all modern western governments. Your patriotism is admirable, but in terms of government, sweden is just another lukewarm hodgepodge of misguided socialism and lip service democracy. The US today isn't what it ought to be, but luckily we haven't fallen so far from the noble idea of self-governance as to be totally different in any way. I know you don't have a job, but understand that all your government does is take what other people work hard for and redistribute it as if to say they know better than you do how your life should be handled. When you work for a living that will gall you - unless of course you're the type who abandons idealistic notions of personal freedom and responsibility for the lulling temptation of 'security' and the feeling that its nice to have responsibility placed on someone else. All wellfare is is an effective way of building a powerbase by weakening people and making them reliant on you. Our government has engaged in this to a much lesser degree (but too much by far) but was founded against the ideas of unjust seizure of private property for the purposes of its mismanagement by people who sit on high. Read our constiution, read the federalist papers, some tom paine - these things set the world on fire, my friend, and still should.
