Going for knee surgery on Wednesday. May be out of commission for a few weeks.

I tore my ACL last year. It's ok to walk on now, or any jogging or biking that doesn't involve sudden changes in direction, but I need the surgery if I want to get back to contact sports.

You don't say, those darn ACLs seem to tear quite often for people these days it seems.

Initially, 2 doctors and my physiotherapist thought it was my MCL. My physiotherapist had me working on exercises to get me back playing soccer by the end of last year. Then we got the results of the MRI, and my physio told me "Everything I told you to do last week? Stop doing it immediately."

ACL's are not required to lift alcohol.
