Who has the best title here?

I got mine from a time I went to a large record store in the mall. I asked the person behind the counter if they had any Opeth (I could not find any) and he says "Opeth? Opeth who?" so that is how I got it.

tab·u·la ra·sa (tby-l räs, -z)
n. pl. tab·u·lae ra·sae (tby-l räs, -z)

1. The mind before it receives the impressions gained from experience.
2. The unformed, featureless mind in the philosophy of John Locke.
3. A need or an opportunity to start from the beginning.

I think it's even more impossible that opinion-oriented questions usually are to say which of our titles are the best, since they all have specific personal meaning that is often based on an inside joke and holding no meaning to the other members of the forum. Then again, in some cases they are more obvious and lucid for all to see, however, those are often less interesting. Keep in mind, that many of us have changed our member titles from time to time, as I was once "Guidance Mutton", "Minister of Propaganda", "Junior Member, "Beating Member" (heh... potty humour) and probably several other things. Then again we must keep in mind that although my current title (Rambling Personified)is in no way reflective of my writing style, peanut butter will always be better smooth than chunky and ubiquitous facilitation is a process ripe with subtle intricasies. Unless seen from the perspective of...

That's cheating ;)

I tend to mean it as "blank slate".. Any of the original ones are great, in my opinion...

Your intangible gift for getting it right is... me saying that yours is best.

Tabula rasa means "blank canvas" I believe.

My title is a modification of "cogito ergo sum" which you should recognise as "I think, therefore I am"

Hence: Opeth, therefore I am

Mine should actually be "attentive fellow peacemaker", but there wasn't enough space for all of it. I was called that long time ago on the Theatre of Tragedy forum and I kinda started liking it.

As far as I know, I was the first to call us all Opethians, thus, that makes me the original. (I really looked that day at prior posts to make sure - hope I'm right)

DOes that make mine the best? No. Depends if you judge it on humor, meaning, etc. But a lot are original.

All of the ones I've used are stolen from song titles or lyrics, the current one being a varitaion on a track from Borknagar's Quintessence, so I'm probably not going to win any points here :) Except maybe for the accidental misspelling of the word "divine" that I kept intact because I thought it sounded more evil that way :heh:

Johan, if you haven't noticed, my sig at the end of my posts is "ergo sum." It was actually the title of the film I made last year in film school, and I just generally applied it to my life :)

I'm going to have to pick a new title now, though..

Did someone say latin?

"Modo facit!!!!" (an inside joke, playing off the phonetics of the phrase, the phrase basically sounding like "mother fuck it" In highschool anyway that was significant)

btw, this means "just do it"

Let me elaborate on mine a little more, since my last post was a bit childish to say the least... Idolon is one of the best bands that I have ever heard....all of you should check them out as soon as they put out a formal recording.
