Yep yep yep!

I was right in front of him at the last Maidens Paladino's gig. I remember the guy next to me (who I thought kinda had a resemblence to Corey Feldman) was asking me at one point right before the Maidens went on if I'd have any problem with him turning around and popping the dude in the nose. I said that I'd have no problem at all with it cuz I was just there for a good night of entertainment, and if he wanted to help add to that factor by cracking GLAMMY NUETERSIREN in the face, I was all for it.

As it turned out, he never got popped and the siren continued all fucking night - but I have to admit that as annoying as he was/is, it's amusing. I guess it all just depends on an individual's tolerance level when it comes to being in the same room with the guy for too long. It didn't really bug me much. I just saw it as not-so-funny after the 50th time and that he was making a major ass out of himself and pissing off quite a few people in the process.

I'll definitely be at the next Paladino's gig anyway, but due to this thread... ha... I hope he aggravates one of you enough for me to witness a fistful of solutions!

I am laughing my ass off because I know who your all talking about too! This guys screaming is extremely annoying. I came to see the maidens perform, not some dickhead screaming in the audience! I don't mind a few screams from anybody, but to do it 50 million times in one show, STFU!
 
How about "Screamer Dude" for a nickname? I've met this guy before and apparently he does this at every rock show he attends. It seems like he's just having a good time , doing it for fun, and probably has no idea how disruptive other people find him. Someone (a good friend of his for example) should nicely break the news to him. They would be doing him (and the rest of us) a favor.

Those of you familiar with Edvard Munch, the Expressionist painter from Norway, will know his most famous piece is entitled "The Scream". The "ass" part, well that's self-explanatory.

Ohh and to George McFly... You're welcome duder. I took the brunt of the crowd, but I was mostly trying to guard the monitor, not you... hah. Let me know if you are still up for some Slayer jams.

I, too, believe I've had an encounter with this goof...at the Rik Emmett (from Triumph) show at Paladino's back in October.

The show had a lot of acoustic numbers, and the screaming idiot wouldn't shut up for the first few songs. I'd come up with my wife all the way from San Clemente, and she's been in love with Rik Emmett forever and she was not at all happy trying to listen over the idiot. She told me she'd kill the guy if he was doing his screaming during Magic Power.

The Paladino's "security" was totally indifferent. But, before I was forced to try to deal with the idiot by myself, Emmett's own security dude took care of the situation. Very BIG guy, like an in-shape pro wrestler--at least 6-foot-7, 250. He went up to the guy and said something to him, and the screaming idiot was immediately silent for the rest of the night.

After the show, the Emmett security guy was very nice in taking my wife's Triumph "Allied Forces" CD backstage for Rik to sign. I asked him what he'd said to the idiot to shut him up, and the guy just smiled and said "I made him an offer he couldn't refuse."

So, Maidens crew, maybe that's the answer! No need to resort to violence when perhaps just the threat of violence from a Hulk Hogan sized guy will do the trick!

screw security, Chickinson should bludgeon him w/ her mic stand at the next show hes at and does that.
 
Why wait for him to do it? We should just deny him entry into the next LA gig.

Fuck that guy! If he doesn't shut up, I'm gonna punch him in the neck!
 
Ah... the things that truly determine the peace and harmony that we as human beings have to offer for one another.

I'd love to agree with Wanda's theory on the whole thing, and it really is the right idea to go with, but realistically I find it damn near IMPOSSIBLE that no one has brought this issue to the guy's attention countless times. I see that 120Cstrings can vouch one at least one occasion. Anyone else?

I sincerely do hate violence as a whole, but hey, whatever - it's not my issue. I just find it amusing cuz I can relate to the experience of being at a show with this obnoxious dimwit. You can really see that he's just having a good time but it's just that it's in one hell of an annoying manner.

Ok On a nice note. I think maybe someone nice and possibly female should break it to him.
 
This thread is cracking me up because I can totally relate to having to sit through shows with some moron just ruining it. :mad:
But isn't there a guy like this at every metal show? I'm sure the Maidens know who I'm talking about. He's the guy that yells, "Show me your tits". I know I've heard that at their gigs more than once. It's one of the things I hate about metal gigs, there's always a dumbass there trying to be the center of the universe. The bigger the show the more of them too. I say you get a chick to quiet him down however she sees fit. Coming from a girl it might actually scare him.

He really needs to have someone break it to him. Trust me, I'm not a diplomat, and I'm also not known for my tact. If things were left in my hands, this guy would be finding himself with his head shaved and bearing several new bruises. :p

Perhaps punching him in the neck is a little extreme, but he WILL shut up. I've been punched in the neck, so I know how he would be feeling. :grin:
 
It helps sometimes to be tough and ruthless. It's better than going around rough and toothless! ;)
 
I'd love to experience this dude's annoying behavior at a show , once ----- just to see what you all are talkin 'bout. Lot's of you SoCal's seem to be runnin' into the dude. If at every show you see him, before the show starts say, "Hey, are you going to do your annoying ass singing tonight like you do at all the other fucking shows you have ruined for me? Don't quit your day job!!!" Maybe after dude hears the same thing a few times in 30 minutes before a show he'll get the hint. Be a diplomat though, not a dickhead. He is just trying to enjoy metal and God knows we really need more metalheads in the US!
