Who is NAHHHHHHHHH GUy

Yeah the screamer guy(very offkey too) was an annoying fuck. Then there was another guy in front of me whose idea of cheering the band was to flip them off. Granted, the guy paid to get in, but the whole flipping off the band thing to me always seemed like an over-done "hey guys look at me I'm a badass!" sort of thing.

How about "Screamer Dude" for a nickname? I've met this guy before and apparently he does this at every rock show he attends. It seems like he's just having a good time , doing it for fun, and probably has no idea how disruptive other people find him. Someone (a good friend of his for example) should nicely break the news to him. They would be doing him (and the rest of us) a favor.

Well, this is the first time I have talked to him on the phone and he asked me to look something up for him and I did. I read this thread to him and he had no clue.

His words:
This has surprised him because people actually ask him to do the screams. I played him the sound file here and he can see how peircing it is. There are people that do provoke him to do this. He goes to shows, he can hardly hear himself and didn't know it stood out that much. His apologies to everyone.

Well, I really don't know what to say. After talking to him, he had no clue because no one had ever said anything to him. I don't know him that well and spoken to him a few times at a few shows. I didn't read him the whole thread though. He was pretty sincere in his apology and very surprised.

Well I found out the best way to shut him up is to put the mic in his face.

I did that to him at Paladinos... and he just went stone face with his mouth wide open. That ruled... the band had a good laugh.

All kidding aside he's not that bad... he's pretty supportive of tribute bands. He goes to allot of shows. I don't think he needs his ass kicked. Just a reality check...

As much as I/we hate hearing him scream and were ready to beat the shit out of him, I almost want to buy the guy a drink and thank him for the non stop laughter we've had from this BB as well as that last maidens show at Paladinos. Gawd I haven't laughed that hard since watching Chech & Chong's Up In Smoke. Please, no more screaming Ted, but let us taunt you and scream NAAAHAHAHAHHHAHHHH!!!!!

Basically, at any show you go to, there are 3 guys that are always there. There is always a "Freebird" guy which needs no explanation. There is the "Fuck yeah" guy who is drunk but harmless, and pretty much just yells things like "Fuck yeah you guys rock!" Then there is the "Fuck you" guy. This asshead is drunk but NOT harmless. He is usually some angry fuck who will flip off the band and mad-dog everyone because he is incapable of having a good time;usually he is some jock who never grew out of it and has a constant headache because he drinks things like Coors Lite. The Nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh guy is pretty much a more annoying version of the "Fuck yeah" guy.

oK Look I started this thread and I think its good we got all this out. My initial intention was simply to get the point across that it was irratating. But I think we may be pushing this guy away from shows now and I don't like the idea of that at all. Because regardless how annoying he had been. He knows how to have a good time and its evident in more than his obnoxious wailing. I have talked to him a few times since I started this post and he seems like a pretty cool fellow. So in all sincerety he's not an asshole and doesn't need his ass kicked. He has gotten the point obviously and he is not annoying anyone anymore . I think we should leave it alone .Buy him a drink. Make him the maidens Mascot. Rape him . Bake him a Cake. Give him a Cigar.Toss him a Salad. Call Him Strongbad.

Not sure who Strongbad is.

I agree. Doing the "Nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" all night is annoying. Once or twice during the show shows the humor and the irony behind it all. Hell, even the Maidens will probably agree with me on this.
