Witchmountain from Portland,OR. Unta's soprano vocals are supreme,they raise the hair on my neck plus she's actually attractive.
Check them out APRIL 9th at the BAckspace in Oldtown.The show starts at 9pm.I don't know how much the cover is but usually between 5 or 10 bucks.

I'm not into melodic death metal at all, but if I were I would probably take these guys over most other bands I've heard in the style.

Nexus: Progressive Death Metal with jazzy influences.

Cadavarice

Columbus, Ohio doesn't have a whole lot of kick ass going on right now, but there are a few notable bands.
Deadsea, The COAST, Fool's Crown, Infernal Death (Death tribute band that only plays Scream Bloody Gore and other bands first albums), The Ender are all excellent groups. There's a handful of new bands starting up as well that I'm pretty excited about.
I'd say my band, Cadavarice, but we haven't done much besides write a handful of songs and get a logo made.
All bands can be found on Facebook and Myspace.
