I was just coming home, so I only got to see wish you were here and Comfortably Numb. They sounded great despite their age. It was incredibly gay how MTV/Vh1 cutoff the last solo for some fucking commentary by some fucking commentators. But I found a recording of it online by some british channel, so it showed the whole thing in uncut glory. Your thoughts?

I thought they sounded great. I think Roger Waters' vocals in Wish You Were Here lacked, but Comfortably Numb is one my favs by them and they did it beautifully. Gilmour will never lose whatever it is he has that makes his playing so special. I am just coming into Floyd's music on a large scale, and it is a slow process but an enjoyable one. Good marks for the performance, and I too was annoyed by the cut in the solo. What's with them cutting off McCartney's whole set? I was pissed. I had to watch Stevie Wonder for 20 minutes and only got 2 minutes of McCartney.
