Who wants 5150/Recto Impulses?

I've been experimenting with making cabinet impulses and I like the way this came out so I am going to give this away. Included are 5 different impulse files to open in your favorite impulse loader. Chain is 5150 power amp with Winged =C= power tubes, Boogie Recto cab with standard Mesa V30's, and a single Shure SM57.

Here is a clip where both guitar and bass are processed using my impulses:

Alpha - A standard tight and clear modern high gain type impulse
Beta - Tight, but darker, for bright guitars or sims
Gamma - Great for crunch tones or for adding 'vintage' vibe
Delta - Like Alpha, but extended bass response
Epsilon - Combination Beta and Delta, big bass response and dark top

Just updated the original post with 48k sample rate Axe-FX friendly responses as well, can somebody let me know if you are successful in using my impulses with your Axe-FX?

LOVE IT! Made a short clip using my axe2 with the epsilon impulse, sounds awesome, really clear and tight, excuse the sloppy playing!! BTW, the delta wave file doesnt seem to be in 48kHz since the axefx converter couldnt open it.

Any other tester feedback? Trying to figure out what gear and in what context these work with. Anybody using an Axe-FX get the chance to use them in a live gig context? That would be really cool feedback

I worked out why I couldn't open these; there is a colon (one of these : things) in the main folder in the .zip and Windows doesn't like colon's in file names. Opened it with WinRar and removed the colon. Now I can try them out!

Hey Jake !

i've acquired a 5150 amp head, i'm loving it. I recently tried recording with the preamp out signal. Sooo much better compared to my previous ampsim recordings. Though i'm wondering, what are your favorite cab impulses to go with a real 5150 preamp out signal and not with an ampsim ?

I've tried the 5150, recto cab alpha, (thanks btw ) didn't much like it... maybe i'm doing something wrong

Any help would be appreciated
