Why are the V30's The Top Choice for Metal - On here?

I don't mean this in a bad way

Im just curious how many people have tried other speakers aside from the V30's and why you prefered the V30s?

It seems like a lot of people on here really love the speakers

I think they are good speakers too, but I like the greenbacks more cause they sound meaner/aggresive to my ears for metal.

Gives it more of a crunchy feeling with a rough character to it.

Are the V30's easier to track guitars with?

Quite a few of my favorite tones came out of V30s(in flames, killswitch)

but also out of my personal favorite greenbacks (stuck mojo,fozzy, evh)

I've tried other speakers... alot of them sound great in the room, but mic'd up it's just horrible.

One example that comes to mind is the Eminence v12, and we can all agree on that, I assume. Sounds good on the room, horrible mic'd

Also, V30's have an insane cut and clarity while using low tunings. As an exclusive 7 string player, that's something I value highly.
