This isnt the most trusted source, but a couple weeks ago howard stern was talking about how chappelle's fame was getting to him and he was having a breakdown. Apparently he used to always go on the stern show and hasnt for a while ,but still talks to them and just couldnt handle it. He was overwhelmed by the transition from club star to TV star.
