Rather than issuing an EP every year, why not wait two years and issue a full-length?
Or am I missing the point here?

Agalloch isn't their jobs iirc. It's more of a part time band hence the small tours/less full lengths. It's still not bad given it's part time, every few years, although the White EP was their only EP I really enjoyed tbh.
Not sure man, for memory John Haughm is a carpenter. But don't quote me on that I just remember reading that he was somewhere or another.what are their actual jobs? im interested to know what they do for a living.

If the quality of their last full length is any indication, they should stick to the EPs!
