Why on Monday?

I would suggest to place the concert on SATURDAY, in order people from other countries can easily go there.
As you probably understand, not so many people may have a day free at work.
If it would have been placed on Saturday, we would be there since for us the line up is extraordinary and we would like to return to British Festivals as soon as possible.
Keep on rocking and think about Saturdays,

Best regards

It is a public holiday here in the UK, and there is another festival already on the Saturday before!

We have people travelling for this already from USA, Australia, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Israel, Jersey, Greece and Gibralta!!

Not at all, but clashing with another festival would be foolish.

Plus, I'd guess that it is not all that easy to find a venue of the right size, in the right location, and on the right date. Especially when it comes to booking 'no-good' metal bands.

Worldwide Metal, why shouldn't we folks here in the UK have a UK metal festival on a UK bank holiday!!
This in my opinion is the 1st real metal festival we've had on these shores in a long while, so rather than give the organisers grief why not give them some credit for actually providing what should be the UK's metal event of 2001. :D

Not just for 2001, this looks like the best Metal Fest in the UK so far! I don't remember when there was a decent one, maybe Reading Festival years ago before it turned Pop.

Hey bam bam dont forget donnington the year maiden headlined with skid row second on the bill and also slayer wasp and the almighty were playing!!! That was an awesome festival! I am really looking forward to bloodstock as i love SAXON and I'm looking forward to seeing some of the other gigs to, but there are a few other bands on the bill that to me just seem like fillers, a really good festival would have no fillers, sorry bloodstock!
Apart from that, on the why Monday question, I notice its not anyone from britain asking, but somone whose country has festivals regularly, so yes it is we're ok sod you, and about time to! Its hard for me to get to holland anyday, weekend or otherwise so i for one say thank god we have a festival in the uk, and if somone from holland cant get to it, well boo hoo to you, Im sure next year when your at the dynamo and as per usual I cant get there you'll be quite happy and wont be moaning that the organisers didnt choose a better day for you!
