Why Testament?

Why do some lame ass idiots always think that we want to hear their negative opinions about the band we apparently love since we are posting on their board. If you only come here to talk shit about other peoples favorite band, then fuck off we don't need idiots like you wasting our time with mindless blabber. You have been warned!!!!

oohh some missunderstanding here, i was not bashing this great band dude, i was asking why they are a great band and what makes people hear them, since im thinking on getting some of their stuff. if i was you i would go jumping on people like that.

Testament is awesome. Their live shows are full of so much energy . . . there is a personal connection between this band and their fans that defies explaination. They are writing Bay Area Thrash "at it's finest" in a time when most bands have opted for a trendy style. Testament is one of the few bands that have kept it heavy and thrashy.

"First Strike is Still Deadly" is a fan-requested remake of old classics and "The Gathering" is a perfect example of a new album made in the best of the Old School Thrash style. From the first album (Legacy) to the most recent (First Strike is Still Deadly), every Testament recording is memorable!

Thrash on Testament!!!!!

Dude, it wasn't you that I was referring to. Look at the first quote, and maybe you'll understand.

Testament, simply because they've been around for over a decade, are one of the original metal bands I grew up with, and have NEVER betrayed their fans by sellin out or going all 'experimental' with other shit! Chuck is the embodiment of Metal Master on vocals if I ever saw one, just look at him!!

absolutely wicked guitars...a very talented vocalist...most importantly, they are one of the few bands that have gotten heavier and more brutal (if that's possible) with time. The hunger still burns in these metal monsters. The last of the unbendable. The last of those that are completely not influenced by outside factors. Only one other who was as uncompromising comes to mind...read any of my other posts and you'll know which band (or guy) that is. The cornerstone of the true metal ideals. They aren't influenced by shit like slipknot (Kerry King), they wont go soft (unlike James and crew), and they wont fuck around with experimenting with popularity (at least Dave's redeemed himself with his latest album-at least most of it/"I Promise" and "losing my senses" suck). They stick to their guns and get even heavier and more powerful.

I am in constant awe with the degree of friggin talent these guy's put out.Every F'n tune has a rythum,or a solo,or something, that just makes me go"holy shit that was f'n brilliant".And you don't see that anymore, with anyone!I have to see these F'rs live! They were billed to appear in Kingman Arizona a few years ago.Can anyone confirm that they actually showed up in Kingman?I just can't picture that happening. If they did then I blew the mother of a chance to see 'em.Someone gimme'a clue man.
