Hey.

Im pretty new to being in a band, but we have one together.
I was wondering: Is three people enough to make pretty good heavy metal?
heres the lineup-

ME-Vocals/guitars/lyrics/tech
ANOTHER GUY-Bass/vocals/tech
ANOTHER DUDE-drums/lyrics

This will only last 2 and a half years until ANOTHER GUY moves to canada and me and ANOTHER DUDE are gonna put up probably a bigger setup.

Well, it can be enough, if you're satisfied with the song... if the sound isn't what you wanted then it obviously isn't enough. There's no rules about how many people are needed to make a good metal band, it just depends on how you want to sound personally.

right, of course you cant play very complex structures and stuff with only 1 guitar (In Flames isnt possible ;) )
but if you feel its enough, it IS enough, just try it for some time, you'll notice if you need more people

me and a friend just started a 2-person band (guitar+vocals, bass) and we currently use the computer for drums an a bit of synths. shurely not a perfect band, but better than nothing for shure....

remember the rules..there are no rules. i personally like 1 guitar , bass , drums , frontman. classic 4 peice. :Smokin: :Smokin:
