Will the EMG's 81/85 fit on my rga?

Hey guys,

I think I'll be buyng this EMG's:

EMG Zakk Wylde ZW 81 / 85 Active PICKUPS & POTS Black Solderless Pickup Set

These are the EMG 81/85 ZW set. Does anybody know if they will properly fit on my Ibanez rga 42fm (2009 model)?

They should. I did an EMG install on a customer's non-prestige RGA about a year ago and I didn't have to route anything.

Yep. As long as it has pickup rings and it's not the direct-mounted Prestige RGA's, everything will be fine.

Yeah i have to get my rga routed for my het set emg's :/

The pickups will fit in perfectly but they main problem will be the Ibanez input jack because you can't just switch it out for the EMG one so you will have to work with the Ibanez one, which is luckily already a stereo jack but requires different soldering instructions if I remember correctly. So for the solderless set you will still have to solder to the input jack. Other than that, it works out just fine.
