just a quick question, if you got Mac to OSX with a VST, could you then use a VST to RTAS wrapper to make it work in PT?

I'm installing these shitz right now. I'll let you guys know if it works.

edit. Now in the part that self-installs stuff and is supposed to take an hour... I'll let you know how long it takes for me.

edit 2. 30mins gone, says it's cleaning Mesa.

Took me one hour 50 minutes to install that thing.

edit. nevermind, I was able to download the wacvst thingy. On to the next step!

Based on step 25:
25. Drag the Windows VST .ddl file you wish to wrap and any supporting files into the "Resources" folder window that should still be open on your desktop. (If you're not sure about the "supporting files" (which can get pretty involved, depending on the plug-in), then I might recommend that you start off experimenting with some of the more simple freeware plug-ins that only comprise of a simple user interface and a single .dll file. At this point, you can close the "Resources" folder window, but leave the "wacvst-bin" folder open.

It seems to use .dlls but I havent tried it yet, everyone still seems to be installing it, takes ages lol

Tried in Reaper, doesn't seem to show up in the VST list even though clearly loads it at startup.

Well, I guess it was just too good to be true...

Yeah that's good, I'd like to see if this works for anyone else.

I'll try to tweak this a bit more and see what people are talking at KVR, and post if I get any results...

Nope. Just doesn't plain fucking work in Reaper. Don't know if it would make any difference in any other DAWs. I'll try it in Live Lite tomorrow, if I'll find the CD it's in.

The developer says he's implemented only 30% of the VST 2.x spec and 0% of the VST3 spec, FYI, so keep that in mind with the plugins you try out.

Glad to see there's some further development on this front, the developer seems really committed to this project and improving it quickly. This is more practical than V-Machine in terms of workflow, a lot of promise here.

I'll have to give this a spin when I've got more free time. Thanks for posting!

Gotta say, I only tried TSE X30.

I guess it wouldn't have been the most awesome thing in the world anyway since they aren't AUs but VSTs, and the Reaper OSX beta sucks donkey balls.
