Anyone else ever hear this black metal band? I just heard em today and I think they are really really good. Kinda avante-gardish black metal.

Yah. They were one of the first bands on Moribund Records. Back in the day of the good stuff. They had Infester, WoTBM, Windham Hell (great band), and a few others.
One of the best black metal bands in the US imo. Back when it was basically Masochist, WoTBM, Judas Iscariot, and a few others.
I have their 1998 release Sing though unholy servants. great stuff.

I had one record of Winds.. but I can't find it, and remember the name. But it was awesome!! I think it was a one-man-number then by Tchort (which I've been confirmed is not the same artist whit the same name in Carpathian Forest etc.)

Yah. They have (its two guys) released their Black Sun Shall Rise about a year ago now.
Sing thou unholy Servants cover was a naked woman getting her cup filled from a gargoyle with what looks like blood.
They have 4 CD's out, and were also on the Beherit Tribute album.

Sing Thou Unholy Servant is awesome. The atmosphere that this band puts together is only matched by probably Burzum's earlier records.

Tchort quit looong ago. The last thing he did with WoTBM was Sing Thou Unholy Servants.
Nybras hooked up with Angzerhornbroals of Black Torment for everything since.

Pretty good stuff! Believe it or not, I actually funded the first Moribund WOTBM release. I swear that Tchort is actually all that is left of WOTBM, everyone else is now in Summon.
