Haha, that picture in the window is hilarious. Not much to comment on about the windows ringing but it seems as though the back of the monitors are directly in front of the window. You may try spacing them out a bit more so that they are more in front of the walls and definitely get some treatment up there. I would also definitely recommend decoupling your monitors from your desk in the control room. That alone will improve the sound immensely.

Definitely follow the advise given here already. Decouple those speakers or, even better, get some monitors stands and move all of that away from that window asap! I would not mix anything if i was in that position and expect accurate results. It's hard to see from the pictures but it looks like a L shaped room in which case it would actually be better to turn the desk so that the monitors fire long the length of the room.

As for the ringing, can you describe in more detail what this ringing is? How thick is the window? and is it sealed tight into the frame? If its super thin and it has some play in it it'll definitely rattle and create unwanted noise.. I've tracked once in a place that had a glass decoration in the middle of the freaking place. It was long, relatively thin and loose in the frame and it definitely created issues when we we're tracking loud sources.

I don't think those pads are doing much for high freq reflections, let alone the bass frequencies. Grab those pads, put them up against your face and speak into them (to basically kill the reflections from your voice). If the ringing stops, then you need more treatment.

Alternatively, talk into the room (without any obstructions in front of your face) and see if applying a small amount of pressure to the corner of the window with your finger helps to stop it. The window may have been installed incorrectly.

Not straight ahead like you have them. The window ringing? What like a phone? For rattling...caulk the seams on both sides.

lol do the eyes on that picture follow you when you move around the room?

ok so i orderd the rock wool for the super chunks!

thanks alot guys ill try moving the desk like you said aswell
