Winger Rules.........

METAL.............
Was Wondering If Anyone's Into Winger, And What C.D. Thay Love The Most.

I Love All Three, But Would Have To Say The First Is The Best.

One Thing I did'nt Like About Winger, Is - Reb Is One Awesome Guitar Play , Did Some Awesome Guitar Playing On In The Heart Of The Young , But It Was To Hiden Behind The Production.

What Do You Think ? .

I was just listening to Winger last night. The first album and Pull. Great band.

I think the first is my favourite too, but the guitar is definitely too far back in the mix and needs more balls. More volume/distortion and it'd be brilliant. I think Pull is better in that respect but the songs aren't as strong.

Figured I'd bring one up out of the arcives :p Winger Pull is fukin awsome I remember back in like '93 when it became very VERY unfasionable to listen to winger hahahha all those stupid fucks took it out on the wrong band Winger actually had talent its amazing how people can eat up all the crap ppl feed to them

I agree with you JonnyD :) I'm actually listening to Pull right now, great album. One of the best releases of 1993 by far. All 3 of the band's albums are fantastic. Reb Beach is a killer guitarist, Kip has a great voice and they were great songwriters.

I had one album, can't remember which one but it had a cover of 'Purple Haze' on it (strange decision that one). I do remember fucking loving it, big style!! Mostly because of Reb Beach's playing. I will let everyone into a little secret regarding the song 'Bitter Part Of Me' of the Panic Cell album, I always remember one lick Reb used in one of his solos that was a fast picked fingy on the top string which I used in a similar way to my 'Bitter Part Of Me' solo (it's somewhere towards the end of the solo). Ok, I admit it, I pinched a Reb lick and now it will probably follow me forever. Thing is, I only had about 30 minutes in the studio to come up with a solo (I never seem to be able to work a solo out!) and for some reason that lick came out.

Panic Cell's ode to a Reb!!!!

That's the debut with "Purple Haze". Killer album! My fave song off it is "Time To Surrendur" but there isn't a bad track to be found really!

I loved the first and third albums but that second one ehh I just could never get into it it just felt waaaaay to comercial ..... Have you heard any of Kips recent solo work? I heard a clip of him doing Blind Revolution gone mad all acoustic it was pretty cool ... I have to say that Winger is in the top 5 most underated bands ever! And Pull is the most underrated album ever

She's only SEEEEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVENTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN....hhaa I really liked that song...Reb had a tad of an Ed VH influence going on ....but I think if it weren't for KIP WINGER being a tad fruity everyone would'a loved that band. Come on...they're no worse than DOKKEN for cryin' out loud. You either love hair metal or hate it and if you like one band you probably like them all....kind of like Huey Lewis and the News....nobody ever admitted liking them...but yet they sold millions...things to make you go hmmmmmmmmm.

I like Winger, but don't have any albums...but if I saw one cheap I'd probably pick it up just for the memories....

Remember Stuart on Beavis and Butthead?

I want a new drug!
Tedvan Huey!

It did have good songwriting and some great great guitar work by Reb too. Bad timing. If they released it one year earlier even it might have gotten a bit more recognition.
