Really? How can you deny the awesomeness of winter?
Cold nights, ski tripe, fun boots, leather gloves, hot alcoholic drinks,
fire place with a glass of good seasonal ale, cool holidays, time off, snow, the awesome feeling of being warm, standing outside and enjoy the cool air..
ahhhhh I love winter.

winter is cool for the first four months of it, the last three are pretty tiresome

I've only experienced an actual "Winter" on very few occasions on vacations/trips. Usually in LA Winter is a 72° day with some slight cloudiness and the occasional droplet of rain.

How'd your gf like driving from downtown Toronto up to my place and then out to Etobicoke to a hotel on a snowy January night?

I want to eliminate winter from my seasons permanently. I really fucking hate it.
The snow is great if it happens, its the shitty cold I hate.

Black Winter Days are the best. But mostly winter is like pancakes. All exciting at first, but by the end you're fucking sick of it.

This thread is not and will not convincing until you post pictures of yourself frolicking in the snow clothed only in your underwear.

plz.

Snow is awesome, sleet is awesome, ice is awesome. But continuous days of cold drizzle and wind = SHIT and that's mostly what our winters here consist of.

Fall is the most awesomest :kickass:

is it winter already?

'tis some where in the world, ie. here.

Winter does indeed rule. Although our Winters aren't almost as harsh as alot of yours (typically around 15ºC, used to get alot of rain, but 10 years of drought has 'dampened' that trend), I love the cold. More comfortable at work, seeing as I'm a boilermaker; easier to sleep; the trout bite in the lake etc. If it snowed here, I'd like it all the more.

Aside from "standing outside and enjoying cool air", I haven't partaken in any of these liberties. Karen are you a Duchess in your native land?
