not sure if you're trolling or not, but this is by far the worst recording i've ever heard from Zeuss. I love the dudes in this band, and i've enjoyed a few zuess releases, but this release was a disappointment in every way possible.

I'm not sure of the amp, but I've love to know so i can avoid buying one haha. I do know they toured with Krank amps at the time though.

how can you say its terrible? maybe compared to Zuess' other work it isnt as great. but i love this natural sound. sounds a lot better than the over processed shit i hear from nearly EVERY band in the metal scene these days. it sounds like everything was just miced up, mixed to spot, leveled out then rendered, without all the nasty processing.. the way music production should be.

but to each their own :)

Yeah "like music production should be"............while I agree that over production is annoying in some cases. I feel like your audience deserves the highest quality product you can give them and this band is capable of way better and so is Zuess as we have seen.

ewwwwwwwww... the mix isn't bad but HOLY FUCK could those terrible vox be ANY louder??? =D

i always know it's zeuss by the his snares SOUND and by the very peculiar way that EVERY SNR roll or really ANY kind of rolling drum fill.... you ever hear on a Zeuss record sounds SUPER fluid and awesome as shit.... gotta be an editing and careful sample replacement thing...

well sure, but in most cases, music production seems to be able giving a band the talent that they do not possess. nowadays, any shitty band can sound like theyre the best, which isnt fair for the bands who actually DO have the talent because all it takes to be recognized in the music industry is to have high quality mixes, not music. and if you notice, like i have, say for instance somebody of the general audience listens to a few songs from a select album and later hears another song that is from that album, quite often that person will recognize who it is not from the music but from the production. and if they were to hear this same band perform the same songs at a live show without being told who it was, they probably couldnt tell you who it is theyre listening to because theyre used to hearing the absent talent from the music production and not the present talent that the band actually has.

/end rant.

POINT IS... i really enjoy this album because it sounds so different than most any other album ive heard and you cal tell that the producer isnt giving them the talent they do not have, because they already have it.

if i took a shot for each time i used the word "talent"... i would be (insert ridiculous activity here).

haha and charles, i think thats the first time ive heard somebody be dissatisfied with their vocals. theyve had two vocalists which have always been quite...talented haha. but i agree, some of the vox could be a little quieter. and i dont think there is much drum editing there. matt is just that awesome of a drummer.

if you really wanna hear some shitty sounds, listen to their Golgotha album. produced pretty bad IMO but i still enjoy how it sounds like i listening to it live.

Don't really like the music, but this is a really nice mix. You guys weird me out.

its a krankenstein, dont remember if it was the krankenstein+ or not

I asked one of the guitarist a couple years back :)

and I wanna say it was either a krank cab or Vader. cant remember

im sorry this mix/production has to be one of the worst ive heard. They must have begged for the St. Anger sound.
