I really like 1991 as a year - best movie ever, some of the best albums ever.
D'oh! Now I've hit the 90s! Least I've got Cowboys in Hell and Rust in Peace to go with it.
And to celebrate moving out of the 1980s, I got two CDs today (I would have got them anyway) and they aren't from the 1980s!

Good album, that. A few naff songs (like Mary, Queen of Arkansas - *snore*) but some awesome ones as well (especially Lost in the Flood and Spirit in the Night).
I don't much care for his next one, The Wild, the Innocent and the E-Street Shuffle though. But I bought those two and Darkness on the Edge of Town in a three-pack thing for like $20, and Darkness is one of the all-time great albums, so that's OK.
I always see The Wild, The Innocent and the E-Street Shuffle for $10 (Asbury Park was for that) but I never feel like buying it - it looks like he's just got a band together and he thought he'd 'jam on some rock & roll' and release it. Granted, I haven't heard it, so I shouldn't be judging.
With the 5 I have, I'd rank them in this order:

I want to get the River but because it's a double - it's over $30 and I haven't bought an album over $30 in a long time. Does it actually have the song "The River" on it? I love that song and it may seem an obvious question - but looking on the back I couldn't see it!
And I want to get Darkness on the Edge of Town very much - and The Ghost of Tom Joad.

$30? Woah. Should be able to get it for much cheaper than that. I suggest you shop around a bit.
I'd recommend you get all of his stuff except Human Touch. The only good song on that one is the title track. May as well get it while you're at it, but don't go out of your way or anything. And get one of his live DVDs, Live in NYC or Live in Barcelona. They both rule.

I saw Live in NYC DVD at this shop today for $30 and almost got it... but decided on these two CDs instead. I'm going through a huge CD buying thing at the moment - and for some reason I also bought "Red Dawn" on DVD for $15 from Woolworths. But then again, it does have three of the best actors ever in it - Harry Dean Stanton, Patrick Swayze and Charlie Sheen
