Ok, it's raining, so here's a promised update.
Me'n Anna have been having a brilliant time, with me showing her the sights of the local area. Last weekend, we went to Edinburgh, stayed in the halls of residence there, and walked all over Edinburgh city centre. We saw the National Galleries, the Botanic Gardens, the Royal Mile (a street lined with shops that is a mile long, starting at Edinburgh Castle and ending at Holyrood Palace, hence the royal mile), and a historic church called the Tron Kirk which has part of a 16th century street excavated in it.
It was fun, and Anna is cute, as per usual, very easy to get on with and an excellent travelling companion. When we have the pictures ready, we'll show you some of the sites. Including the coolest squirrel that ever existed.
