Wolfmother

Yeah, I haven't heard much, but what I have heard is kind of cool, considering how mainstream and popular they are anyhow.
They showed a concert on TV here (Australia) the other night and it was a pretty decent watch IMO. I believe they're Australian.

led sabbath maybe? ha

well, theyd make a great cover band...but i have absolutely no urge to listen to a band that so blatantly doesnt care that they sound JUST like 2 other bands who do it much better.

Yeah I thought they were really cool when I discovered them, thinking.. "wow! they're the next led zeppelin!". But then wait a minute, they sound just like them and don't exactly have anything new to offer, thus getting old pretty fast.

Still some great songs though, "Woman" & "Mind's Eye" were stuck in my head for quite a while...

I keep hearing their tracks at the gym in the morning... it's at the point where I just want to blow my brains out. I have no love for their blatant forgery of the aforementioned two bands. Same shit as the Jet thing. They're trying to cash in on what was at one time a good thing.

you have an agollach pic in your sig and the last song you listened to was nirvana, so i'm gonna go out on a limb and say they're not good

The least you could do was spell AGALLOCH right. Eh, I don't mind mainstream music. Not afraid to admit it either.

I had the chance to see them at the Falls Festival on new years, but I thought I would go off and smoke some weed.

spelling their name right is actually the MOST i can do. nirvana sucks, mainstream or not

I think Nirvana are great. It's the fans who think they are the best band in the world that piss me off. I don't mind listening to mediocre music as long as it rocks and I am honest to myself about it.
